In order to foster a sense of identity, Governors have recommended that a school uniform be worn.

Girls:

• Plain black skirt/trousers, white blouse with collar
• Plain black sweater or cardigan, or Knowles black sweatshirt, available from school
• Flat black/grey shoes/dark coloured trainers - NOT the brightly coloured fluorescent variety

Boys:

• Plain black trousers, white shirt with collar
• Plain black pullover/sweater or Knowles black sweatshirt, available from school
• Black shoes/dark coloured trainers - NOT the brightly coloured fluorescent variety

In the Summer the following items are optional.

Girls:

• Pale blue, or blue/white checked dress, white cardigan
• Black tailored shorts (not sports type), white T-shirt with collar

Boys:

• Plain grey tailored shorts not sports type, white T-shirt with collar
• A black Knowles sweatshirt is an optional item of uniform for both boys and girls.

Please note that your child may continue to wear the Knowles Infant sweater until it is due to be replaced.

SPORTSWEAR IS NOT ACCEPTABLE AS SCHOOL UNIFORM

Girls PE Kit:

• Black shorts/PE skirt
• Gold school polo shirt, available from school
• Trainers and plimsolls

Boys PE Kit:

• Black shorts
• Gold school polo shirt, available from school
• Trainers and plimsolls (Football boots are desirable for boys from Year 5 onwards)

Track suits are acceptable in colder weather for PE outdoors.
