Knowles Junior School Podcast

Hi my name is Sonia Wasim and I’m in yr 6. I’m going to tell you about my time here. We have swimming in the leisure center and go to museums. I’m going to miss Knowles, teachers and my friends (Rhiannon, Daina and Emily)

I’m going to miss Knowles and I’ll be sad to leave.

I’ve had a good 3 years at Knowles, but the best thing was my M.A.T trip. I’m gonna miss Knowles Junior but more the people there!!!

The best thing that happened at Knowles was when we went to the Safety Center in year 4 and we got to do lots and lots of different tasks and activities about road safety, train safety and just safety in any case.

The only bad thing about it is having to leave all my friends that will still be going to Knowles.

When we went swimming it was really fun, First of all we were learning how to swim. And then we had some free time for about five or ten minutes. At the end of swimming I didn’t even want to get out of the swimming pool, I wanted to stay their for the rest of the day.  

My best day at Knowles Junior School was when I went into a museum in 2007 where there were a lot of paintings and my teacher showed us these medals in a cabinet. As we got deeper into the museum it seemed to get scaryer and a kid called John kept on scaring people and the teacher as well, then I scared him and he got really scared. After that he laughed.  Then I was looking at a painting and I didn’t notice that everyone had gone so I ran and I got told off by my teacher for running.

My best day was when we went to Leicester Museum to see about the Egyptians this year, some of the mummies looked real some of my friends were scared of the fake mummies. I liked the coach ride home we had lots of fun. 

When I went to the Safety Centre I went into a dark, empty archway.

We had to do lots of fun exciting activities.

Also we had to ring someone when there was an emergency.

We had to watch a rescuing video to help what we had to do.

In year 6 my best trip was to go to Leicester Musem. Because in history we had been learning about Egyptians which was really fascinating. However, there were real life mummies there! That was the most scariest thing! My best year was in year 6 because it was the best ever.

Hi my name is Arob, My best day was when we went to Stadium M.K. to see the Queen on November 29th 2007. Before the Queen arrived everyone was doing the Mexican Wave. When she arrived we had to sing the British National Anthem. Some children were wearing Red, Black and White to represent their school and it made up the MK Dons sign. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! 

I made a hat as my creation. I found it hard at first, but when I got the hang of it I still got sort of it wrong.

The hat was shaped like a brain!

I was the only person to make a brain.
